Some walks may pass open water including rivers, lakes, waterfalls, rock pools or the sea. Occasionally, participants may choose to paddle, dip or enter the water independently.

No lifeguards are present
Water activities are not covered by our walk insurance
Any decision to enter the water is entirely at your own risk
Natural water environments can be dangerous. Risks may include:
Cold water shock
Strong currents
Hidden hazards beneath the surface
Slippery rocks and uneven ground
Sudden changes in water depth
Injury, illness or drowning
You should never feel pressured to take part in any activity that makes you uncomfortable, even if others choose to do so.
