Formby woods

Gather your cozy autumn layers, ladies, because Wandering Women are heading to Merseyside for a magical woodland and coastal adventure! Join us on Saturday, October 17th as we explore Formby Woods on an easy 9.3 km (approx. 2–3 hour) circular walk through towering trees, ancient sand dunes, open fields, and along the scenic beachfront. Keep your eyes peeled as we hunt for wild mushrooms and see if we can spot a rare red squirrel along the trail! The cost is £20, with coach pickup at 9:30 AM from Layton Library and departure at 5:30 PM. Because no woman wanders alone—grab your boots and book your spot for a crisp autumn day out with the group!
